In the article, following a definition of Sira IbiographyH , it is remarked that Sira looks to the type and manner of historical events. There are some differences between Sira ,“tarikh” histo,yu and Maghazi battles’. Then the goals or analysing Sira are elaborated . Also its significant is mentioned, key role in appreciating the noble Islamic culture. It is posited that without analysing and understanding the Sira, gaining a knowledge of Islamic teachings will be impossible. To prove the thesis, a number of references are made to the Quran, histoiy , and hadith, “tradition’.
