Showghi as a poet, lived in a period that was full of political, social and religious problems. His Divan can be regarded as a reference of contemporaly history of Arabic world specially Egypt. Beside the Showghi ‘s social and political ideas, his religious viewpoints also can be examined. He considers society of Egypt as a complexity of national history of ancient time and Islamic identity. He, by comparing those subjects and by preference of Islame, believes that religion has always been the basis of civilization and reaching to good morals.
The Qoranic words and religious terms have an religious influence on his poems. Showghi loved prophet so eagerly that encouraged people of Nahdjolbardeh to certify his sincerity.
