Heml-eneutics is one of the most important methods in modem literal)'
criticism. This modern method has two different periods:
1 Traditional hem1eneutic which considers the principle of the definite
and absolute meaning of discourse.
Il New heml-eneutics which considers meaning as the reader preceives .
Although one may survey Hafez / poetical works from different literal)' perspectives) such as the foml-alistic approach, or the mythological attitude) one of the best methods in surveying and analyzing his poems is still the
heml-eneutic one.
