The imposed Iraq war upon Iran which lasted about 94 months caused lots of damages and casualities in Ham province. Close to 87 urban and rural regions were invaded frequently during the war, and two border towns in this province (Mehran and Dehloran) were occupied by Iraqi's army. As a result, more than 36000 housing and commercial units plus the important social, economical, and military centers were damaged in this area.
In this article, the writer intends to analyze the historical procedure of changes and activities related to the reconstructing the war-torn zones in this province. In addition, this research cover the geographical dispersion and distribution of the war-torn area both during the war and post-war era.
