Abstract

In the text of geographical history of Iranian cities that has sixty three sections, mentioned about the constntction of sixty one cities and towns in Khorasan and transoxania and other parts of Iran. In the original text a hundred and fifteen big and small cities and towns have been discussed, but we do not know anything about the fifty one cities and how they were built.
The city of Bagdad, the sixty first cities, that was built by kaliph Abu Nasr, known as Abu Aldavaniq and its constntction reach to the centuries A.D. This text shows that the city of Samarqand was built by Kawoos the son of Qobad, and Siavash, the son of Kawoos finished it.
In the east of Tranexania there is Nabat and Khorasan is in the south of
it. Transoxania has been cultivated and populous from the old time and because of its production and economic centers it was a center for comerce and trading.
