Recognition of different places of the world was importantly considered by scientists from the ancient era and they dedicated a large part of their life span to this important issue and in many cases they have left their lives to his task due to the lack of proper facilities in those days.
Right after the appearance of Islam due to the encourage to this issue many scientist such as: “ABU Maashar Balxi”, “Estaxri”, “ABU reyhan Birooni”, “Nasir Khosrow”, “Ibne Bathoutah ” and.. .have considered to the importance of this issue.
Also in”qajar” dynasty have been written many itineraries in different subjects. The prevalance of itinerary writing led to “Nasir-al-ddin shah”to compile his journies during 50 years of his
ruling as “itinerary of Iraq’ -i-Ajam”.
