Assefiyeh dynasty was the last Mslem government who governed in Dakan about 234 years, (1367-1133) The prime mover of this family was Navvab Mir Ghamaroddin Asefjah the first, and the last or the seventh of it was Mir Othman Ali Khan Asefjah the seventh, who was known as N asam the seven. Most of Asefjah people composed persian poems and a Divan (complet poetical works) of poems has been left. Mir Ghamaroddin has two Divan in Persian, who used Asef at first as a pen name and then as Shaker.
Mir Othman Ali Khan had four Divan which contained poems in
persian and vrdu and his pen name was Othman.
He was shiit and most of his poems are in praise of the prophet
(p.b.u.h) and his family especially Hazrat Ali (AS).
