Epistemolomi has played an important role m contemporary philosoply.
Intelectual perceptions fall into three groups by Islamic philosophers: 1) primary inteleclus 2)
Secondary intelectur 3) Logical intelectus.
Some of the Islamic philosophers, as Hadj Mulla Hadi Sabzewary, have endeavored to give a
decisive definition for these perceptions.
Motahhari, as a philosopher, has done a good critique on Hadj Mulla Hadi Sabzevari's definition. Kant, on the other hand, in his philosophical system beleived that a priori categories had an decisive part in our knowledge of the world.
Motahhari criticised kant's views on categories, and mentioned that his views disregarded the correspoding relations between object and subject. For this reason, he IS forced to believe in Indealism and not realism.
