In this paper a method is presented for interpreting Nima Youshij’s poetry on the basis of two different approaches 10 the interpretation of texts offered so far by the eminent hermeneutics theoricians.
The approaches are:
a) Those having special impact on the individuality and mentality of the auther; the contenders of which hold that the ultimate meaning of the text is attainable: and that the interpreter’s suppositions and conditions at present are fatal for the interpretation.
b) Those disregaring the author’s individuality and mentality, the contenders of which do not believe in the main, ultimate meaning of the text: neither do they believe in the only correct interpretation of the text, they also hold that what the interpreter knows at present are necessary for interpretation.
The method is presented for interpretation of the symbolic poems of Nima.
At the end, the poem “hast shah” (It ‘s Night) by Nima Youshij is interpreted by making use of the method presentd by the write of the present paper.
