He knew both the Arabic and Persian langyuages and literature quite well. He also knew the religious scieces, medicine, and astronomy in a very good manner. He has presented many ricientific elements and aspects in his poetry. Hence, he has used many Arabic technical terms along with the names of many poets. Yet, his poems are quite attractive. He has created the poetical form called "mosammat" as well. His similes are very beautiful and innovative. In this research, it has been tried to put forward the influence of ,emrolgheys's Mu' allaqah and poetical themes on his poems. Three odes of his and certain verse have been thoroughly surveyed and examined. منوچهری دامغانی از جمله شاعران طراز اول ایران در نیمه اول قرن پنجم هجری است . او بر ادب عربی و اشعار شاعران عرب و بر احوال و آثار شاعران پارسی احاطه داشت و نیز بر علوم دینی و ادب و طب و نجوم واقف بود . منوچهری به اظهار علم و فضل در شعر اصرار داشت ، از این رو نام بسیاری از شاعران پارسی و تازی و اصطلاحات مهجور عربی را استعمال کرده ، اما هیچ یک از اینها از جذابیت شعر او نکاسته است . تشبیهات وی بدیع و زیباست و او مبتکر قالب شعری مسمط است . هدف مقاله ، این است که با بررسی سه قصیده و ابیاتی چند از دیگر قصاید دیوان منوچهری ، تاثیرپذیری او را از معلقه امروالقیس و مضامین و مفاهیم شعری او نشان دهد . https://jflh.ut.ac.ir/article_25200_6a895fba32861f6fdd45bf2215879a89.pdf
